THE ARC SOFTWARE STORY
ARC’s flagship software product, Premier Stock Control and Cash Management, was commenced in October 1993 and was installed in over 400 sites throughout Ireland, Uk and Europe during its lifetime.
ARC formed a new Software Development Company, namely ARCsoft, in association with the former Premier Software Solutions with the primary goal of developing a windows based Stock Control Package.
The result of this partnership is the leading stock control package ‘ARCsoft’, which was released in late 2004 and which has gone from strength to strength in the Irish and UK hospitality markets with over 250 installations currently in use.
In 2005 the ARCsoft Handheld Stock Taking package was released after intense development in association with leading stock takers in Ireland and UK which has revolutionised the Stock Taking process with the unique ability to weigh Spirit / Liqueurs among many of its features.
In 2006 ARCsoft Head Office system was released and is in use by some of the most recognised Hospitality Groups in Ireland. This was the result of collaboration with one of the leading Pub/Office Licence Groups in Ireland to provide a solution to collate sales and stock information from multiple Pubs/Hotels/Off Licences and provide easily understood reports along with central control of pricing policies from Head Office for the group.
Development of new packages continues apace today with new and exciting software solutions due for release over the forthcoming months while also promoting the ongoing development of the ARCsoft suite of programs.
