POS Mobile Pro enables faster service and table turnover. Orders can be taken at the customer's table, using the menu-driven touch screen, and sent speedily and wirelessly to kitchen or bar, enabling your key staff to remain front of house taking care of your customers.

This self-contained, hand-held, touch screen, wireless terminal has the same functionality as the full sized, mains powered models in the ARC-Vectron range and can be linked within the same system.

Servers can walk among your customers in leisure areas such as lounges, terraces, pub gardens, swimming pools, bowling alleys and take those extra orders that you might otherwise not receive, while at the same time providing a higher level of service.

There is no need to cover the whole area with wireless access points. When out of range, MobilePro continues to operate off line. It returns on line as the user walks within wireless range and automatically transmits the stored data to kitchen/bar printers.

Unlike PDA or palm devices that have been adapted for use as order takers, MobilePro is specifically designed for hard work. Its ultra-light, all-metal magnesium housing is shock resistant. Being dropped, exposed to rain or liquid spills is part of a day's work for MobilePro.

Even in strong sunlight, its screen is bright and clear due to the transflective technology of the TFT colour display.

A power saving brightness sensor automatically switches on the background lighting of the keyboard buttons when necessary.

If the unit is tilted - for example to show an order or bill to a customer - the tilt sensor automatically rotates the screen information by 180° so the customer reads it the right way up.

MobilePro has an in-built call alarm which vibrates and flashes the display to advise servers noiselessly when a food order is ready.
